At nearly 102 years old, Ruth Bograd died peacefully in hospice care on August 3, 2017. Born in New York City, she moved to Denver in 1950 with her late husband and love of her life, Dr. Nathan Bograd. Known for her vitality, strength of will and love of family, food (especially dessert), books, the arts, and travel, she was a life-long learner who achieved a Ph.D. from the University of Denver in her late seventies. Preceded in death by Nathan, her survivors include her children Michele (Tom Denton), Larry (Coleen Hubbard), Harvey (Katya) and seven grandchildren. Funeral services are Sunday, August 6, 12:30 p.m., at Feldman Mortuary, 1673 York St, Denver. Family and friends will gather at Harvey's home at 5 p.m. Sunday, 566 High Street.
