Obituary of Ben Cohen

“Davey” Cohen passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 17. David was born in Denver on March 19, 1935, to the late Morris and Ann Cohen. Davey graduated from the Univ. of Denver and went on to be an Accountant, food distributor and then a successful restaurateur owning The Gayety and Davey’s Palace. He was a fantastic father and a loyal friend. Davey is survived by his sons Gary (Andrea) Cohen of NYC and Larry Cohen of Sedona AZ, and grandchildren Maddie, Justin and Orielle. Services will be held at Golden Hill Cemetery on Thurs. May 19 at 3:00pm. Contributions to charity of choice.
