Obituary of Philip Hilvitz
Philip Hilvitz, 77, born 10/13/39 died 4/20/17;
Survived by Joni, his wife of 56 years, Lynette (Joey) Simon, Heidi (Mark) Leachman, Brent (Jennifer) Hilvitz, and grandchildren: Ari, Taylor, Hunter, Harrison, Parker, and Sam. Son of the late Pauline and Sam Hilvitz, brother of Art and the late Harvey.
Phil was born in Pueblo, Colorado and moved to Denver in 2002. He was an avid golfer, lifelong entrepreneur, business man, and inventor. He was on the board of many organizations, including Rocky Mountain PBS. He volunteered at Sky Ridge Hospital and Volunteers of America. He was a mentor to many through SCORE. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Service, Sunday, 1:30pm at Temple Emanuel (51 Grape St, Denver 80220). Interment immediately following at Emanuel Cemetery (within Fairmount Cemetery, 430 S Quebec St, Denver 80247).

The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Joni and Phil Hilvitz from Sunday through Tuesday.
