Obituary of Abraham D. Paper

~~Abraham D. Paper, Aurora; husband of the late Phyllis J. Paper; father of Jan (Maury Kroopnick) Fisher and Don (Kathy) Paper; grandfather of Molly (Jeremy) Goldsmith and Jonathan Fisher; great-grandfather of Adam and Emily; also survived by nieces, nephews, and many admirers. Abe was born December 5, 1920 in Fargo, ND, to Samuel and Bertha Paper. He was the seventh of ten children, the last survivor. He served in the Army Corps of Engineers in WWII. In January of 1946 Abe married Phyllis Levine Paper. He practiced optometry in Louisville, KY for 30 years. Abe loved tennis, bridge, Minnesota college football & his family. Abe was the best patriarch and beloved by all his family. Service, Sunday, 10:00am, Shalom Park; Interment Mount Nebo Memorial Park. A Shiva luncheon will be held at Shalom Park. Contributions to Shalom Park. Because Abe was so proud of his military service, guests are asked to wear red, white or blue.
