We are deeply sorry and so saddened to learn Jon has died. Our hearts go out to Zach, and his family. We loved his dry sense of humor and his kindness to all. May memories of good times comfort you all and may his memory bring you blessings. Hanna and Mark Shaner

So shocked and saddened to hear of Jon's passing. Jon and I were best tennis buddies and doubles partners when we were little kids - we were the top ranked 10 & under and 12 & under doubles team in Colorado and the Intermountain section. We practiced together constantly and competed against each other in singles many times - I still tell people about the 4-5 hour marathon matches that Jon and I played at that age. I can still picture Jon hitting a backhand (his best shot), posing like a flamingo on his follow-through, balancing on his right foot with his left leg pulled up behind this rear end!! Even though we played for competing high schools (Jon at GW, and me at East), we stayed as tennis buddies throughout our junior tennis years. Condolences to Jon's family - he will be missed. --Larry Loeb

Char and I were shocked and are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Jon. Jon and I practiced law together for about 50 years. He was a person of the highest integrity, a perfect gentleman, great colleague and friend. It is comforting to know that he found a perfect mate in Sandra and that he enjoyed his last years with her mostly on the ski slopes and golf courses. His pride in his two sons was always evident although he lost Erik way, way too early. More recently he had expressed his great pride in Zack and his having found his career in stage production that takes advantage of his talents. Regrettably age and infirmity will prevent us from traveling from our new home in California to attend the funeral services, but know that we will be there in spirit and that we and our two daughters that loved hIm will cherish Jon’s memory forever. Our condolences and sympathies to Sandra, Zack and to Jon’s family and many friends. Char and Al Wolf
