Margaret Y. Levitt née Bronstine, formerly Bronstine-Levy, was born March 20, 1924 to Max and Viola Bronstine. She was the youngest of four children and is preceded by her parents, her sister Raye, and brothers Ben and Ed Bronstine.
Margaret was a native of Denver, graduated from East High and attended University of Denver. She was married to Michel Levy in 1946 and had two children: Barry Levy and Linda (Robert) Lynch née Levy, formerly Levy-Kark. She was the grandmother of Michael Kark (Keren Ritchie), Sean Kark and Tori (Lev) Cohen; and the great grandmother of Adam, Dylan and Zoe Kark, and Mia Ruth and Ava Rae Cohen.
A strong matriarch and guiding light of the family, she enjoyed spending time and making memories with her family. She had a very sharp and active mind and enjoyed the arts, creating pottery, music, travel, politics and playing bridge and mahjong with her many friends.
Margaret will live on in the hearts and minds of her family and friends.
Services will be held privately.
Shiva will be held at Linda Lynch's home (call for address, 303-916-7970) on Wednesday 2/22 from 11am until 1pm and Thursday 2/23 from 4pm until 7pm.
