Obituary of Carolyn Grossman

Carolyn Grossman, mother of Lisa (Marc) Soicher and her five siblings Anita, Mark, Rick, Sheryl and Claudia, died earlier this week in White Plains, NY.  She was spunky, fun, caring, empathetic, and witty to the very end. She had a soft spot for all children, especially her 22 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was raised and lived most of her life in Niagara Falls where she married her college beau, Stanley Grossman. The Grossmans were very active in their small Jewish community, and were steadfast Zionists. Carolyn enjoyed multiple trips to Israel to volunteer on army bases until she aged out in her early 80’s. 

She loved reading, adventurous travel, marching bands and the Buffalo Bills. Though she and Stanley didn’t live to see them win a Superbowl, self-appointed, Favorite Grandson Spencer thinks this could be their year!

Funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 24th in Niagara Falls, followed by shiva in Denver.
