Obituary of Judith Ann Axelrad

Judith Ann Axelrad (née Mandell) born March 27, 1935, in Denver, CO, died April 27.

She graduated from East High in 1953, the University of Colorado, and then received a Master’s in Library Science from the University of Denver. She worked at the Denver Public Library for over 30 years. Judith was a talented seamstress, bridge player, baker, and avid reader. She was devoted to family and friends.

She is predeceased by husband Saul Axelrad, and survived by children Linda Katzeff, Michael Axelrad, and Daniel Axelrad; brothers Michael Mandell and Gary Berkowitz; grandchildren Eli, Jesse, and Noah Axelrad, Lily and Jacob Katzeff; niece Chava (Eric) Riemer and Zeke; and many cousins.

A memorial service will be at Feldman Mortuary on April 30, 2025, 10 am.
