Obituary of Marilyn Snyder

Marilyn Snyder passed away on Monday evening, May 5, 2025 at the age of 88.

Marilyn, the daughter of Theodore and Ida Epstein, was a third generation Coloradan. She grew up in Denver, attended East High School and the University of Colorado, Boulder. Marilyn and the love of her life, Jerry Snyder, fell in love on their first date and were happily married for 68 years.

Marilyn's greatest joys were spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, playing mahjong and pan, needlepointing, knitting, making people laugh, and running her successful yarn sales business.

Marilyn was the mother of Brent (Lori) Snyder, Leslie (Ellen Johnson) Keith, Tobie Snyder, a loving Grammy, Mamommy, and Mimi to Brett (Lynnsay) Simon, Danny Simon, Sydney (Avi) Loewenstein, Seth (Willa) Snyder, Shelby (Ethan) Demby, and a great grandmother to Mia, Milo, Asher, Bryson, Grae, Remy and Syril.

Marilyn's three brothers, Fred Epstein, Ronnie Epstein and Ted Epstein, Jr. predeceased her. Marilyn is survived by her three sisters-in-law Ruth Epstein, Sara Epstein, and Vivian Epstein.

Service, Thursday, 5/8, 12:30pm, BMH-BJ Congregation; interment Emanuel Cemetery.
