Dear Sharon, my deepest heartfelt condolences to you and the boys. George and I go back to junior high in a ripe time for do-wop music set in the background of the exploration of the sixties. And we did explore! One of our experiments, later on in our lives, was a men's group which met once a week in my basement, around the pool table. We plunged into the deepest secrets of our souls, revealing what we didn't know that we didn't know. Fly high, George, and rest in peace, dear friend.

It has taken all day to collect my thoughts about George. I was so fortunate to spend years as a suite mate with George. There were many days that we spent more time together than we did with our families at home. Never a cross word. I looked forward to getting back to the office so we could have lunch together. There was no subject that we didn’t discuss. His love of Sharon, his sons, and extended family knew no bounds. He was a brilliant lawyer and treated every client with respect and dignity. He worked tirelessly on each case to get the best result and he was a champion of justice-injustice was NOT acceptable. He was fearless and could not be bullied by a judge. He is probably the only Renaissance man I’ve known. The obituary captures that aspect of his life. I was fortunate to listen to him and learn. He made me a better person as well as a better lawyer. He was a teacher in everyday conversation. You just don’t find special people like George everyday and I was so lucky to spend years with him as a friend and colleague. There are thousands of people whose families benefited from George’s years of representation and those people passed it on to others. He charged the lives of people who never met him and don’t know they are indebted to him for what he did for members of their families and friends. It is not trite to say he may the world a better place- he did it many times over. We have lost a great individual and may his memory be a blessing for all of us who were privileged to be in his orbit. Rest in Peace my friend. Gary

Dearest Sharon & Family: I am heartbroken! My sincerest condolences. Known George since high school, then more so at Summit Chase neighborhood in Baltimore. Always enjoyed our time together with Sharon and with the kids. George was as sharp as a tack. He loved the Doo-wop music tape I made for him. I will remember him fondly May he rest in peace.
