When Rita's father Dick passed, we said that he was an American Original. The same is true of his daughter. She was a bright, warm, kind and giving person. Gone much, much too soon.

We have been neighbors with Rita and her family for over 40 years, and can honestly say that she will be missed tremendously. She was totally immersed in her work helping others. She was a real people person and thoroughly enjoyed hosting events in her home. Rita meant many things to many people She will be deeply missed in the hearts of many. The Greenberg Family

Rita and I were close friends growing up at Hillel Academy and reconnected 24 years ago. She was always a positive force for my kids while growing up at Temple Emanuel. Rita was a wonderful woman, educator and friend. My prayers and thoughts go out to her family. She will be sorely missed. Such a sad day for the Denver community.
