Obituary of Sandra Pingenot

Sandra Pingenot 1935-2025

Sandra Celeste Pingenot, 89 of Denver Colorado passed peacefully on July 1, 2025.

She was born in Houston Texas on August 26, 1935 to August and Marie Pingenot; the eldest of three siblings.  Sandra attended Our Lady of the Lake Academy in San Antonio.   

Sandra dearly loved animals, especially cats, and found comfort in her collection of stuffed animals when she could not have pets.   Sandra resided in Houston, Galveston Texas, Springfield Missouri and Denver Colorado.   Her outgoing personality and sincere attention to the details of other people’s lives helped her find friends wherever she went.  She was a regular and devout reader of the Bible, and her faith was a real source of comfort to her.   She will be missed by the many people who knew her as a cheerful person, always interested in sharing a quick smile or a laugh. 

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jeannine Sampson. She is survived by her brother Rene’ Pingenot, her sister in-law Elsie Pingenot, and her nieces Carice Pingenot Reddien and Felicity Sampson Short and nephew Trent Pingenot.
