Obituary of Renee Cohn-Karpel
Renee Elaine Cohn-Karpel, 81, of Castle Pines Colorado, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025.
Renee was born in Denver, Colorado on July 29, 1943, to parents Harold “Red” and Elizabeth Stein who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Walter Karpel; brother Stanley Stein and many other close family members.
Survivors include her children Merritt (Christine) Cohn of Highlands Ranch, CO., Sheri (Stephen) Coll of Ft. Worth, TX. and Amy (Jeffrey) Becker of Highlands Ranch, CO; Grandchildren Samantha (Will) Buckles, Jacob (Taylor) Cohn, Alexis (Joel) Kronawitter, Lauren (Daryl) Myers, Corey Becker (Arianna Lucas), and Chelsea Becker; Great-grandchildren Kinsley Buckles, Hudson Buckles, Owen Kronawitter, Lillian Myers, and Jackson Cohn; Brother Earl Stein and sister-in-law Sharon Stein.
Renee attended George Washington High School and graduated in 1961. She worked many jobs while raising her three children. She continued her career working sales for MCI where she earned many sales rewards. Renee enjoyed taking vacations with her beloved family and friends being with her. She was deeply involved in all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives and activities. She will be dearly missed by all who know and love her.
A memorial service will be held at Feldman Mortuary at 1pm on July 16, 2025.
Service will be available via livestream on the Feldman Mortuary YouTube Channel.
