Obituary of Mark D. Arlen
Mark D. Arlen passed away unexpectedly on December 13, 2025 doing what he loved: playing tennis. He spread joy, wisdom and humor to everyone he met.
He cherished his wife Patty (Paller) for over 40 years. Together they raised four children and moved to the Denver area in 2004, where Mark worked as a financial planner and founded GPS Financial Planning. He was enamored with Colorado’s natural beauty and 300 days of sunshine, traveling extensively but always happy to return home.
Mark dedicated his life to his family, the Jewish community and the highs and lows of cheering for the Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his wife Patty, his four children Zak (Beka), Heather, Logan, and Chandler, his siblings Bradley and Gayle, his mother Myrna (Kurt Bloch) and his father of blessed memory Dr. Monroe “Chick.”
A celebration of Mark’s life was held at Temple Emanuel on Thursday, Dec. 18, 1:00pm, Temple Emanuel, 51 Grape Street; livestream available on Feldman Mortuary's YouTube channel; interment Emanuel Cemetery;
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Anti-Defamation League or the American Heart Association.
