Obituary of Janet Frank

It is with great sadness that we inform you that Janet Frank, long-time member of Temple Sinai passed away on December 15, 2025, in Denver.

Zikhronah livrakhah, May she be remembered as a blessing.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, Don, her beloved sons, David and Daniel (Kathy), and grandchildren Daigo, Keito, Sarah and Joshua. Janet was the heart of her loving family, a devoted nurturer of relationships who cherished her family and friends deeply. She met her beloved husband, Donald at Purdue University, and they married in 1959, beginning a partnership filled with deep love and respect.

In 1979, they moved to Denver, where Janet helped build a rich and joyful life rooted in community and connection. She expressed her love through cooking and through the many blankets she lovingly knitted for family members, each stitch a quiet act of care. Janet delighted in traveling with friends, especially to the mountains. A passionate lover of music, the arts, and movies, she found beauty and meaning in creative expression. Above all, she was an avid reader, always curious and continually nourished by the worlds she discovered through books.

The funeral will be Friday December 19 at 11:00 AM at Temple Sinai to be followed immediately by the burial at Mount Nebo cemetery.
