Obituary of James "Jim" Berz

James “Jim” Berz, 61, of Denver; Husband of the late Jacqueline “Jackie” Berz; Father of Jack Berz and Maecy Berz; Son of Robert (Diana) Berz and the late Judie Abelman; Brother of Nancy Colman (Gary Dunkel) of Florida, Alexandra (David) Weber, and the late John Berz; Brother-in-law of Pierre (Lorraine) Aragon and Fabiola (Joe) Piperis; Uncle of Andrew (Hannah) Colman and Carly Colman, Jessica Piperis Capuzello, and Frankie Piperis, Pierce Weber, and Olivia Weber.

Jim was a long-time Denver resident with a passion for sports. Jim was a highly respected and talented professional auctioneer for charitable organizations throughout the United States. He was passionate about his work and raising money for so many good causes. He approached his work with a sense of humor, which is what made him so unique and successful. Jim was a loving and devoted father, son, brother and dear friend to so many. His larger than life presence will be greatly missed.
