Obituary of Dennis Michael Oliver

It is with a heavy heart that I post this obituary for my husband, Mike, who passed away peacefully on 10-31-25. I am grateful for the nineteen years we spent together and not a day goes by that I don’t miss him. 

Mike grew up in southern California, graduating from Glendale High School  while playing high school baseball and football.  He attended several semesters of college before embarking on a career as a project manager for Hughes Aircraft. He was passionate about deep sea fishing and often joined his friends on multi-day   ocean excursions and spent time snowmobiling on his property in northern California. After getting married in November 2006, Mike and his wife made their home in Colorado and he was employed by Costco for ten plus years, until his retirement. Although they never had children, they were never far from their loyal dogs who travelled with them often.  

Although he was never given a specific medical diagnosis, Mike experienced constant tremors and an inability to walk without assistance in the years leading up to his passing. Mike has been laid to rest at Mount Nebo Memorial Park in Aurora, CO.
