Obituary of Glenore "Glenny" Patron

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenore (Glenny) Patron (née Rubin). Glenny left us peacefully at the age of 90 on January 23, 2026, surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Esther Rubin, and by her beloved husband of 62 years, David. She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Brian) Lord of Denver and Doug (Melanie) Patron of Houston; her grandchildren, Jason (Lauren), Ryan (Elizabeth), and Sarah (Scott); and her three great‑grandchildren, Olivia, Ayla, and Graham. She was the cherished sister of Edmund, Myron, and Miriam.

A proud third‑generation Denverite, Glenny filled her days with the people and activities she loved. She thrived on staying active—whether on the tennis court, hiking the trails of Green Mountain, or playing with her dogs—and she delighted in cooking, sewing, and knitting for those close to her. She cherished time with friends, loved to socialize, and never turned down a lively poker game with “the ladies.” She loved the excitement of casino trips just as much as she treasured quiet afternoons shopping or swapping stories over coffee with friends. Above all, she treasured being with her family, who were the center of her world.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, energy, and wholehearted living. Her spirit, her laughter, and her love will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.
