Obituary of Dvorah Eskanos Hyman
Born and raised in Denver on October 20, 1937, Dvorah was a caring and strong woman whose life was grounded in family, responsibility, and quiet resilience. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper, known for her diligence, accuracy, and steady dedication. She was practical and strong-willed, yet also generous in her love and unwavering in her support of those she cared about. Those who knew her best will remember her beautiful smile and the warmth behind it.
She is survived by her son, Michael Hyman and his wife Wendy Simon; her grandson Benjamin Hyman (Lisa); her granddaughters Adrienne Razavi (Thom) and Emily Razavi; Wendy’s sons, Jacob Simon and Benjamin Simon; and her nephew Keith Eskanos.
Her legacy lives on in the strength of her family and the Jewish traditions that continue through each generation. Emunah is the quiet strength that carries a family from one generation to the next.
Those who wish to honor Dvorah’s memory may do so by planting trees in her name through the Jewish National Fund — a living tribute rooted in the earth and reaching toward the heavens, reflecting both her wishes and the enduring impact of her life.
May her memory be a blessing.
