Obituary of Linda L. Martin

Our beautiful mother, Linda Louise Martin, 78 years old, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was our guidance, our go-to, and the rock of this family.

Born on January 26, 1948 to Joe and Jenny Martinez, Linda lived a full life of many passions. She attended Manuel High School. After-wards, she worked at a diner called Rocky Bilt, where she met and fell in love with her husband, Mr. Tony Martin. Tony and Linda got married and raised their children in a house of love and loyalty. Linda was known by everyone for her excellent skills in the kitchen; She could take bread and butter and make it amazing. When friends and family came over, they were all of a sudden hungry.

Linda was a very giving person, if you mentioned it, she was going to give it. She loved her family, dedicated to everyone she loved, especially her grandbabies and great-grandbabies. She loved the simple things in life; Beautiful flowers, a big ice cold glass of iced tea, talking on the phone (sometimes for hours), she enjoyed shopping, watching QVC and funny sitcoms.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Jenny Martinez. Her oldest son, Robert Garcia; And brother-in-law Jim Mercer.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Martin. Her children, Kristina Christopher (Derrick), Lisa Meehan (James), Cheri Solis (Ricky), and Tony “BooBoo” Martin . Her sisters, Angie Mercer and Rita Gonzales (Joe). As well as 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Our sweet Linda will be forever missed and cherished.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, for contributions to be made to the gofundme created in Linda's precious name.
