I knew Allen for many years through his extended family. He was always an outgoing person and in good cheer. He was obviously very much a family man and I could see his love for them. The last decade I had the opportunity along with Paul, my husband to meet Allen on a regular basis and really got to know him on a deeper level. The three of us talked about any and everything; ranging from family, friends, military service, politics to quantum theory. He had an infectious smile and laugh. Paul and I will miss seeing him and all our invigorating and informative discussions. We know that his family will have many more memories that will hopefully sustain them through this sad period. Our deepest condolences.
