Obituary of Rita Levy

Rita Levy, beloved wife of the late Irwin Levy, passed away on May 8th, 2026. A woman of quiet strength and determination, Rita was deeply proud of returning to college in her 40s to earn her degree and subsequently working as a therapist—a testament to her lifelong love of learning and empathy towards others.

​She found her greatest peace in the mountains of Estes Park, Colorado. Whether she was watching the deer, enjoying the stillness of nature, window-shopping in town, or immersed in a book by the fireplace, these were her most cherished moments, especially when shared with her husband or her daughter.

Loving mother of Gail (Joel) Stine and Paul (Patricia) Levy;

Devoted grandmother of ​Benjamin (Theresa) Whittington, ​ Sarah McCaskill, ​Benjamin Levy, Talor (London) Levy, and ​Joshua (Allexys) Levy;

Proud great-grandmother of Norah & Elise Whittington, Brimin & Azii Ronoh, and Rowan Levy.

Funeral Service Monday, May 11th, 11:30 am, at Feldman Mortuary; Livestream of the service available on the Feldman Mortuary YouTube Channel. Interment to follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
