Obituary of Howard Feingold
Howard Feingold, 79, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Denver. Born on July 1, 1946, in the Bronx, New York City, Howard moved with his family to Midland, Michigan, at age 6, where he spent the rest of his childhood.
Howard was an entrepreneur and respected telecommunications consultant whose curiosity, determination, and strong work ethic shaped both his professional and personal life. After High School, he moved to Chicago to earn an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from DeVry University, where he met his future wife, Sue.
Following their move to Colorado in 1968, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado Denver. And together they stayed in Colorado to raise their family and went on to build a thriving community around them. Howard was known for his dry sense of humor, work ethic, and staying active. He loved playing handball... he played 4 times a week for most of his adult life. More recently, he enjoyed challenging friends to games of chess. He also found deep meaning in his Jewish faith and community. Howard was a longtime member of Rodef Shalom and later a member of BMH-BJ. He especially loved participating in programs and services at The Jewish Experience. He was fortunate to meet Sherry (Goodman) later in life, and together they spent the last 10 years traveling and enjoying many nights filled with wine and cheese.
Above all, Howard was devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Feingold; his children, Cyle (Tiffany) Feingold and Lane (Jennifer) Feingold; and his beloved grandchildren, Mira Feingold, Benjamin Feingold, and Samuel Feingold. He is also survived by his siblings, Florey Laubacher and Jack Feingold.
Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Feingold, as well as his parents, Selma and Benjamin Feingold.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and community.
Funeral Service Monday, May 18th, at 1:00 pm at BMH-BJ Congregation, 560 S Monaco St Pkwy, Denver, CO, followed by burial at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Jewish Experience.
