George Brew was a wonderful man, worthy of everyone’s love and respect. On my first day at Men’s Wearhouse, I had the opportunity to work with George from 1999 to March 2026,about 27 years. He was very approachable, friendly and responsible. I greatly admired him. Here are my sincere condolences to his family .

Though I only knew George for a short time, I am eternally grateful to have crossed paths with him. If ever there was someone who mastered the "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed" leer, it was him. He was nearly twice my age when I met him but was someone I felt the closest to. Whether we were talking about food, painting, or listening to music, it was always an interesting conversation. It pains me that I will never get to hook him up with some spaghetti or give him a ride to Safeway for groceries and then drop him off at home again. Here's to you George. May they have IPAs wherever this next life finds you. I will be sure to have one in your honor

George Brew Sr. was a great man and mentor. I had the pleasure and honor to work under his guidance at Mens Wearhouse’s Broomfield location. He was an incredibly wise man with a sharp intellect and vast knowledge. He was filled with candor and so wonderful to converse with. His dedication and experience at Men’s Wearhouse is nothing but commendable and incredible. He excelled at what he did and inspired so many… helped so many. He will be deeply missed by us all. I wish his family the best with all my love and give my sincerest condolences.

There are truly not enough good things to be said about George Brew. I had the privilege of working with him for over four years, and I will never forget him. He was incredibly intelligent and constantly challenged me to think more critically and seek truth. His support and guidance are something I will always be grateful for. I am going to miss my conversations with George. It’s not often you find someone you can truly enjoy talking with for hours. His sense of humor, as unique as it was, never failed to make me smile. If there was one thing George knew, it was books. His collection of books was unmatched, and even more impressive, I’m pretty sure he had read them all. We both shared a love for my favorite book: the Bible. While our reasons for loving it may have been different, I will always appreciate the conversations we were able to share regarding the Word. My most sincere condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. I hope I get to see you again, G.

Some people pass through our lives and leave them forever changed. He was one of those people. For years, I admired his honesty, his relentless drive, and his deep love of books. He had a gift for finding stories worth reading and lessons worth sharing. He inspired me professionally and personally, and I am profoundly grateful for the time we shared. My heart is heavy knowing he is gone, but I will carry his example and our conversations with me for the rest of my life.

It is beyond rare to see someone leave such a lasting, positive impact. Unapologetically, George was a man of authenticity and integrity, appreciating the little things with a lifelong devotion to the betterment of himself and others. From studying classic literature to teaching the youth, George never lost his curiosity, nor his kindness. 1312 will miss you, along with everyone you dedicated your life toward serving throughout the decades. Deepest condolences to your family and loved ones.

My sincere condolences to the Brew family. I did not know him that long, but the time I did spend with George, I will remember for life. I enjoyed our conversations about history, philosophy, and especially music. He was the kind of guy who could you tell you not only the name of the band, but also the different musicians for each rendition of a song througout the years. The knowledge he imparted on me regarding fashion I will take with me throughout my whole career. I hope you're at peace George, you will be surely missed.
With love,
Dillon Francis
