Obituary of Lawrence A. Foster
Dr. Lawrence A. Foster of Denver, formerly of Broomfield, CO, and Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away on May 25, 2026.
He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Jeanette (Jan) Foster, devoted father of Douglas (Stacie) Foster, Daniel (Kristy) Foster, and Bradley Foster, and cherished grandfather of Rylan, Josephine, Jackson, and Evan.
Dr. Foster was the brother of Dr. Stanley (Ronna) Foster and Sylvia (Richard) Koppel, and brother-in-law of Barbara (Leonard) Levin. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
A respected Family Medicine physician, Dr. Foster cared for patients in Cherry Hill and Camden for 24 years, earning the trust and admiration of the community. He also served as a team physician for the Cherry Hill High Schools for many years. Prior to retirement, he was the Director of Occupational Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital.
He enjoyed tennis, running, and all spectator sports. Known for his warm sense of humor, he loved sharing a good joke to brighten someone’s day. He was affectionately known as “Laury” to his Boston family and “Larry” to his Philadelphia family and friends.
