Obituary of Glenn Davis Buchholz

Glenn Davis Buchholz (1946-2026), 79, a faithful servant of the Most High Lord, originally from New Meadows, Idaho; died on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 in Aurora Colorado with his children and grandchildren next to him.  He was the son of Theodore and Bonnie Buchholz, and the youngest sibling of four children; his sister Beverly Krigbaum, and his two brothers Roy Buchholz and Robert Buchholz.

He was a devoted husband to his late wife of 53 years, Catherine Buchholz (1946-2024). Preceded in death by eldest son Sean Buchholz (1971-1971).  A beloved father, and grandfather; survived by children, Heidi and Ben Buchholz.  Ben Buchholz and his wife Carmelita Buchholz gave Glenn and Cathy four grandchildren.  Their names are Elias, Dominic (2001-2024), Isaiah, and Mikyla Buchholz. 

Glenn served in the Navy during Vietnam from 1964-1967.  He married Catherine Hill in 1969.  They soon after moved to Denver, CO to begin careers and raise a family.  Glenn worked at the Fleet Maintenance of the City of Aurora as a mechanic and supervisor until retirement.  He loved motorcycles and dirtbikes from an early age.  His latest Harley Davidson was a Tri Glide Trike that he rode up to 8 months before he passed.  His latest dirtbike was a Yamaha TT350. He taught all of his children to ride, every summer consisted of camping and dirt biking. He loved bird hunting, big game hunting, and fishing as well.

Over the years, Glenn was most known for his passion for people and their hearts and sharing the Gospel of Christ.  He ministered faithfully with his wife Cathy, for over 30 years in the Christian Motorcyclist Association.  They traveled thousands of miles on their Harley’s all over the country serving God’s will no matter where they ended up.  He told more people about Jesus than even the miles he rode.

Glenn will be greatly missed by so many.  However, he is reunited in Heaven by many more.

A Military Service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80236) on July 9^th at 3:00 pm. Live Streaming will be available via Feldman Mortuary’s YouTube channel.

A Memorial Service will be held at Fellowship Community Church (6263 S Parker Rd., Centennial, CO.  80016) on August 22^nd TBD.
