Obituary of Patrick "Pat" McGlynn

In loving memory of Patrick “Pat” McGlynn, of Denver, Colorado—his chosen home—who departed this big blue marble on August 10, 2026, at the age of 74.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Victoria McGlynn; his cherished cousin, Pat Malarkey; and his doting cat, Arie Gwlym.

In 1983, Patrick moved to Denver to study at the University of Denver Colorado Seminar, where he pursued a master’s degree in Theater. His degree led him to the Industrial Light Theater Company of Denver, and in 1997 he was the lead in their production of “All My Sons”. Patrick later followed a career with the U.S. Department of Labor OFCCP, where he reached the position of Assistant Deputy Director of the San Diego District Offices.

His retired life was filled with travels to Paris, Venice, Montreal, Milan, and Dublin. His life ended surrounded by love and joy. Pat will be missed and his memory cherished.

A private homegoing will be held at Feldman Mortuary on August 13, 2023.
