Obituary of Scott Alban
Scott Alban, born in 1949 in Jersey City, New Jersey, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, entrepreneur, and outdoor enthusiast.
The son of Leonard and Charlotte Alban, Scott came to Colorado in 1971 and made it his home. He shared his life with his beloved wife, Alice Alban, and was the proud father of two sons, Adam and Josh. He found tremendous joy in his four granddaughters—Eliana, Tuesday, Beatrice, and Willa—and treasured his role as their grandfather.
Lifelong entrepreneurs, Scott and Alice built and operated multiple businesses together in the floor-covering industry. Scott’s independence, determination, and willingness to chart his own course defined both his professional life and the way he lived.
Scott was an avid outdoor enthusiast with an adventurous spirit who loved off-roading in his Jeeps. He traveled the world, embraced new experiences, and felt at home exploring the natural beauty of Colorado and far beyond.
Scott will be remembered for his fierce independence, entrepreneurial drive, sense of adventure, and, most importantly, his deep love for his family. His life and legacy will live on through Alice, Adam, Josh, Tali, Susan, his four granddaughters, and all those who loved him.
Scott is survived by his wife Alice Alban; sons Adam (Tali) Alban and Josh (Susan) Alban; siblings Arthur (Sherry) Alban and Carol (Joe) Levy; and his granddaughters Eliana, Tuesday, Beatrice, and Willa.
Memorial Service, Sunday, September 6th, 1:00 PM, Temple Emanuel.
