Obituary of Lillian Shaw

Lillian Shaw, 100, passed away on Wednesday, September 16^th, 2026, in Denver, Colorado.

Born in New York City on June 13, 1926, to parents Louis Rothman and Johanna née Fried, of blessed memory.

Wife of Louis D. Shaw, of blessed memory; sister of Alice Bleecker and Paul Rothman, of blessed memory; mother of Steven Kahn, of blessed memory, and Martin Kahn; stepmother of Barbara (Joseph of blessed memory) Gibbs-Gore and Rosey (Robert) Godshaw; grandmother of Leah Gibbs-Gore, Gena O’Malley, Julia Godshaw and Haley Barranger; beloved great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

A graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Commerce City, Colorado, starting at 12 pm noon, on September 17, 2026.

Lillian was a long-time pillar of the JCC Community.
