Obituary of Sam Finer

Details:

Sam J. Finer, a West Side Denver native, passed away at age 98. After graduating Denver North High School, he served in the US Navy. Upon his return, he met his future wife Eunice Kraut and graduated from DU with a degree in electrical engineering. Sam worked for 34 years at Martin Marietta Aerospace on a number of classified defense and space exploration systems.

Family, friends, and neighbors knew Sam as a person you call when you need help fixing most things electrical or mechanical. His home was a frequent destination for students getting help with their math homework.

Sam is survived by his son Meritt and daughter Gayle (William) Talbott. Graveside, Thursday (Nov. 30), 11:00am, Rose Hill Cemetery. A livestream available on Feldman Mortuary's YouTube channel.
