Obituary of Judith Pfeffer
It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Judith Kay Pfeffer on the 24th of May, 2020.
She began her life and lived her early years in Flagler, CO, but moved to Denver as a child and was among the inaugural graduates from George Washington High School. In 1997, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Regis University. She spent many years as an independent businesswoman who had an amazing way with numbers, ending her career as a skilled bookkeeper.
As the owner of Property and Casualty Insurance, it was her love of numbers that led her to meet the love of her life, Sol Pfeffer. For the remainder of their lives together they matched wits and matched hearts, and Sol remarked that Judy was “the best wife anyone could have ever asked for.”
Those who knew Judy will remember lively conversations with a woman who was smart as a whip. They will remember her love of cooking and her talent as a musician. They will remember her caring heart and her love of her family.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband Sol, and is survived by her loving Pfeffer family, Marc Pfeffer and Barbara Pfeffer, as well as her sister Janice Hiatt. She also leaves behind a niece and nephew, Jody Rodney and Joel Schneider, and grandchildren Josh Carroll, Hannah Carroll, and Sergiane Schleufer.
She was so dearly loved, and will be forever missed.
