Obituary of Janice Gross

Janice G. Gross of Denver, devoted wife of the late Daniel F. Gross, passed away in her sleep on March 11, 2012 after suffering from a massive stroke. Left to cherish her memory are her son David and his wife Susan, her son Jeff, her daughter Cheryl and her husband Hank, her grandchildren Rachel, Sarah, Zachary and Michelle, her sister Patti and her husband Avery, other family members, and many, many friends. She was a devoted companion of her sweet dog Nicky. Janice was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 12, 1930, but lived in Colorado since her college days in Boulder. She lived life to its fullest. She and Dan traveled to all seven continents during their loving marriage of nearly 54 years. In addition to adventure, Janice had a passion for learning, and especially for science, that she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She was an avid bridge player. She conveyed a sense of style wherever she went. Her family and friends will deeply miss her. Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Temple Emanuel. Interment will be at Emanuel Cemetery.
