Obituary of Liese Rothman

Liese Henle Rothman, 91, formerly of Skokie Illinois. Loving wife of Leonard Rothman for 70 years; Mother of Mimi (Keith)Pockross & Mick (Ellen) Rothman; Grandmother of Colin Rothman, Nate Rothman, Steve (Jen Sarche) Pockross & Adam (Camilla Waddilove) Pockross; Great-grandmother of Zeca & Jude Pockross. Born in 1920 in Heilbron, Germany to Moritz & Frieda Henle. Liese immigrated to Chicago in 1938. She worked as an associate fashion designer until her marriage to Leonard in 1941. She was very active in Temple Judea Mizpah in Skokie, serving as president of the Sisterhood and on a number of committees. She was loved and respected by her family and her many friends for her caring, her taste, her style and her class. Graveside, Friday, 2:30pm, Emanuel Cemetery.
