Obituary of Lee Amdur

1961-2013 Scott Amdur, 51, of Evergreen died peacefully on March 5, following a brave battle with brain cancer. He is survived by beloved sons, Brian and Michael, and their mother, Diane Amdur; devoted sister, Amy Amdur of Highland Park, Ill., and niece and nephew, Hannah and Sam; and many caring aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives and friends. Scott was preceded in death by his loving parents, Barbara and Steven Amdur of Highland Park, Ill., as well as his partner, Laurie Zarlengo of Lookout Mountain. In addition to building homes and serving the Colorado community with his award-winning Clear Creek EMS paramedic work, Scott loved mountain biking, hiking, fishing, skiing and camping with his sons. Funeral service will be held March 8th, at 10:30a.m., at Congregation Beth Evergreen, 2981 Bergen Peak Dr., in Evergreen. Burial at Evergreen Memorial Park will follow the service.
