Obituary of Roberta Karsh

Roberta L. Karsh, Mother of Lori Karsh Eicher and Jeff Karsh (Michelle); Grandmother of Kevin (Kayla) Karsh, Kip (Taunisha) Karsh, Cooper Karsh, Katrina Eicher (Carlos) and Kailee Eicher; Great-grandmother of Kamila and Isabella Quezada, Wolfie Karsh and Avery Karsh, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, June 14, 2013. Roberta, a long time Denver resident will be remembered for her humor, intellect, academic achievements and for her love of literature, poetry and the arts. Roberta was a savvy businesswoman and in 1967 she opened The Footnote Bookstore, a landmark in the original Larimer Square. Roberta's love of literature positioned her as a natural leader of Great Book seminars and engaging participant of philosophical dialogues. She was an inspiring mother and loving grandmother. Roberta attended North High School in Denver and received her degrees from UCLA and DU. Graveside, Tuesday, 11:00am, Mt. Nebo Memorial Park. Contributions to The Scleroderma Foundation, Shalom Hospice or charity of your choice.
