The 20th anniversary of 9/11 got me thinking about the revamped and very patriotic Rosh Hashanah services we did together 9/17/01. I still shed a tear when singing verse 4 of America the Beautiful and " you'll never walk alone" .
Thank you for being a part of my Jewish experience for the HHD in Park City at Temple Har Shalom 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. You inspired me to higher levels.
You are missed, but your presence lives on in those who got to know you and pray with you.
Beth Friedland MD.

Sally and family: My sincere sympathy is with you. Joe's was a life very well lived and so honorably concluded. Few others have given more than he. I know he would take comfort in your strength. Tricia

I just want Sally and Joe's family family to know.... that today one word came to me that describes something important about Joe. He was an "upstander." This word we learned at my daughters school. It describes someone who always strives to lift others up. For me and everyone I know who knew Joe, he always did that. Joe was an "upstander.'
May you find comfort in family friends and community, and may his memory inspire us all to leave the world a better place for being in it. R. Joe Goldman certainly did.

Rabbi Joe was an amazing person, who will be greatly missed. He had an interest in learning from every person he met and he conveyed his love of learning to us all
