I just heard about Norman's passing a few minutes ago, what a shock.. Makes me very sad. Norman was a good man and a great business man. I learned a lot from him, and am very grateful. His stories over the years about how he started and grew his practice are some of my most treasured memories. His clients benefited tremendously from the work he did for them, and I always thought he should do practice management seminars for other CPAs. The way he conducted his practice to give maximum benefit to the maximum number of business owners was unique. I'll never forget the first time I met him. He was in his first office, just off Evans and Monaco as I recall. He was sitting behind his desk and let me in with an automatic door opener. Somewhere in that first conversation with his big smile he held out his arms and said, "this is what I do, I love my work!" He really did, and his love for business was contagious. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, I'm very sorry for your loss.
