On August 5, I lost a dear friend and the world lost a great humanitarian. I cherished my meeting with Joyce, may it be at Zaidy's for breakfast or at Elway's for lunch. On each and every one of my visits to Denver she found the time to meet, talk about Israel, exchange political views and just be friends. She told me about he cancer close to the time I was diagnosed as well and somehow it strengthened the bond between us. I was so sure that she will overcome it as she did other hardships with the passing away of Kal, and other issues. I already miss her very much and it pains me to know that I will not be able to pick up the phone and ask her "so you have time to meet?
May the lord watch over you as well as you watche after so mamy people and touched their hearts and souls.
