Obituary of Goldie Bloom

GOLDIE RENA (LABE, GROSS) BLOOM Goldie passed away in Silver Spring, MD, peacefully and gracefully on February 24, 2016, after 96 beautiful years of life. She left behind many adoring family members: Jean Labe Steinberg (Ron), L. Jay Labe (Bev), from her marriage to Louis A. Labe. Her marriage to Sam Bloom brought step-daughter Barbara Bloom (Bob Rossman) of Philadelphia into the family. Next, her marriage to Oscar Gross brought step-son Steven Gross (Lea) in Jerusalem, and their children, into the family as well. Grandchildren are Lauren (Howard) Levy, Jody (Matt) Brown, Brooke Storey, Nicole (Kevin) Mullowney, Ben (Marissa) Gross, Molly (Sharon) Peled, and Danny Gross. Great grandchildren: Allan Levy, Robyn Levy, Danica Brown, Ben Sunshine, Jack Sunshine, Dylan Mullowney and Ethan Mullowney. Goldie was a force of nature, always interested in anything new. She was always busy being creative and artistic. She was dedicated to her family and to her communities. She cared for people, assisted everyone who called her for help. The funeral will be graveside at Mt. Nebo cemetery, on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 11:00 am in Aurora, CO. Arrangements by Feldman’s Mortuary (303) 322-7764.
