Obituary of Lucille Frank

Frank Lucille 83 formerly of Denver CO died Wednesday May 12 2010 at Balfour Cherrywood Village in Louisville Colorado of natural causes. Survived by her beloved husband of 62 years Milton daughter Barbara Greene and Tony Spellman of Virginia sons Alan Frank and Carole Polnicky of Canada Mark and Karen Frank of Boulder Grandchildren Brian Greene Robert Greene and Dana Hatfield Heather and Chris Frank and one great granddaughter Abigail Hatfield Greene. Lucille received her B.S. from Boston University and her M.A. from Denver University. She was a teacher for Denver Public Schools for 27 years. Lucille was a sportswoman at heart and tennis was her game. She competed and officiated at various levels in tennis and received numerous awards including the 1994 Nicholas Paul Award by the U.S. Tennis Association presented at the 1994 U.S. Open. The award recognized the umpire or official who best represents the spirit of the game. Lucille was active in the Denver Jewish community and served as President of Denver Chapter of Hadassah in 1994. She was a volunteer at Rose Medical Center for many years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Denver Chapter of Hadassah 6445 E. Ohio Ave Suite 200 Denver CO 80224. Family and friends visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - 100 p.m. on Friday May 14 at Feldman Mortuary 1673 York St Denver CO. A graveside memorial will be held in Boston MA.
