Obituary of Adam Pringle

Adam Lawrence Pringle 38, passed away late Wednesday evening June 20, 2018. He died in his Kensington, California home. He leaves behind one sister Julie Gayle Pringle 40. He was born in Denver, Colorado and was raised and lived in Centennial for most of his childhood. He grew up with a passion for baseball, computers, music, chess and books. Which followed him ‘til the end. He graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1998. Then he attended Colorado College, where he graduated in 2001 with a Mathematics Degree. He then went on to Washington at St. Louis to obtain his Master’s in Mathematics. While there he made a tough decision. He decided to give up his dream of becoming a Mathematics Professor. He went on to Seattle, Washington to take a job as an Actuary for Safeco Insurance. In 2004 he decided to quit his job and make his way to Illinois. Where he made the decision to attend college again. He attended the University of Northern Illinois. He did something no one ever expected. He decided to get his Master's degree in Philosophy. In 2006 he graduated and moved on to UC Berkley, where he would try to obtain his PhD in Philosophy. He worked as a teaching assistant while there as well. In 2009 his father passed away and he became ill as well. He left school to focus on getting better. He wrote a Philosophy book and became one heck of a great Guitar player at the same time. His passion for the game Chess grew. He played in some semi professional tournaments and did very well. In 2016 he decided he was feeling better and it was time again for another career change. This time it was a new passion helping people with mental illness and addiction issues. He attended Contra Costa County California's Community College Program Spirit. For Adam this was personal as well. He as well as other family struggled with mental and addiction issues. He graduated in May 2018 and received his degree in Therapy. He still had yet to finish his drug and alcohol certification when he passed. He was about to start an internship with a Mental Health facility in Contra Costa County California before his passing. He was a member of MA for 3 years 2015-2018. Adam had a love for Israel often spending time and his own money on Israeli causes. Especially The Friends of the Israeli Defense Fund. Raising money for the soldiers was really important to him. He loved his dog Sprinkles, an adopted Chihuahua. People probably don't know but Adam's greatest quality was his sense of humor. He could make people laugh their butts off. His life was cut too short. He had so much to offer the world. He will be missed but not forgotten, that is for sure. He is with the big man in the sky now, his beloved animals, his mom and dad who he loved so much. Charity was important to him. ASPCA, Humane Society, The Friends of the Israeli Defense Fund or any charity that tends to the mentally ill, handicapped and addicted. He will be missed to all who knew and loved him.
