Obituary of Jeffrey Herzberg

Jeffrey Herzberg, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on the evening of Dec 9th. 2018 at the age of 69. Jeff was born in St. Paul Minnesota on September 6th, 1949. He attended the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1971 with a Bachelors of Arts degree. After graduating college in 1971, Jeff enlisted in the US Air Force serving 6 years before he was honorably discharged in 1977. After serving in the Air Force, he worked in telecommunications as an engineer helping to build the foundation of today's information highway, retiring after 26 years at Qwest Communications in Colorado. In his retirement, he devoted his time and focus to his wife of 47 years, family, and friends, particularly his grandchildren who held a special place in his heart, filling his life with love and laughter. He is survived by his wife Terri "Theresa" Herzberg, his son Brad (Jennifer) Herzberg of Thief River Falls, MN, his son Eric (Virginia) Herzberg of Littleton, CO. His 5 grandchildren Ian, Ryan, Aidan, Gwen, and Ana, and his sister Janet Herzberg of St. Paul, MN. He is preceded in death by his father Herbert Herzberg, and his mother Sonja (Klawanski) Herzberg.
