I am so sorry for your loss. I am unable to attend the services today, but my heart is with all of you at this difficult time. Katie was a fellow theatre friend in High School and I have very fond and funny memories of our shows, mostly Fiddler, and her love of milkshakes. She was a shining light of love and laughter, thoughtfulness, compassion and even as a teenager she was a nurturing soul. I haven't seen her since she was just a few months pregnant for the first time and getting ready to head to Alaska to start a new life adventure. I never realized that would be the last time I was in her presence. We saw the movie Aladdin and she seemed enchanted with the music. I think she could have sang "A Whole New World" the first time through with perfection! I hope your days and weeks and months ahead are peaceful and love surrounds you all, the family; mom, dad, brother, Joey and beloved monkeys. She was one of a kind and I am blessed to have known her.
