Obituary of Jean Nancy Geldin

Jean Nancy Geldin, 84, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2020 in Denver, Colorado. She was born on April 2, 1936 in Rochester, NY to Hyman and Fannie Brown (Abromowitz). She graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School and attended Buffalo State College. Jean raised her twin sons in Rochester, NY (father Herbert Steron) and later married Irving Geldin in 1973. They shared 15 wonderful years together, blending their families until Irv’s passing. Jean remained in Arizona until 2017 where she enjoyed her companionship of 27 years with Herman Altman, eventually moving to Colorado to be closer to her two sons and grandchildren. Her sons were the pride and joy of her life. She was a loving, supportive mother to both her children and grandchildren. She was Jeffrey’s biggest advocate, supporting him in overcoming challenges and proud of all that he has achieved. Jean is survived by her sons Jeffrey Steron and Marc (Kelly) Steron, her step children Cynthia Geldin and Stewart Geldin (Karen) and her loving grandchildren, Michael and Mara Steron.
