Obituary of Scott Kaplan

Obituary for Scott Kaplan11 Scott Kaplan, 43 (1976-2020), of Centennial, CO passed away on Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 from complications related to COVID-19. He was born in Hartford, CT, graduated from Newington High School and later the University of Hartford, where he met his wife. They have resided together in the Littleton area for 20 years. Scott was dedicated to fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a neurologic condition he was diagnosed with in 2003. He did not let MS keep him from doing what he loved. He was also an avid golfer, and coached his boys in baseball and basketball. He was a hard worker, and worked for US West/Qwest/Level 3/CenturyLink for nearly all 20 years of his CO employment. Scott was a family man, and strived to raise his boys to be kind, courteous and respectful. Scott is the beloved husband of Denise Kaplan and the proud father of Patrick and Ethan. Scott is also survived by his parents, Karen and Leonard Kaplan, his sisters Marci Kaplan and Samantha “Sam” (Eric) Dunham, his aunt Weslie (Lewis) Goldfarb, and many, many friends.
