Obituary of Betty Jo Sherer

Betty Jo Allison Sherer [Centennial, CO], 71, passed away peacefully, with loving family at her side on June 1, 2020. She is a former business owner for 30 years of Tradewinds Hair Design in West Palm Beach and recently a master hair colorist at Love Hair Color and Design until she retired. Betty Jo was an adventurist and artist. She loved making people feel beautiful, painting exquisite scenery, antiquing, decorating, traveling and creating. She had a discerning eye for detail, and extraordinary way of infusing humor and positivity into all situations. She served those in greatest need, as a lifetime volunteer, at the Mental Health Association of the Palm Beaches. Her ability to shine light on others was like no other, always lending a helping hand or kind word; she always made teaching moments on how to take a negative and turn it into a positive. Her greatest treasure was that of being an amazing mother to her daughters, Heidi Sherer [Jensen Beach, Florida], Erica Sherer [Centennial, CO], and son, Brian (Babette) Sherer [Hillard, Ohio]. She was a hands-on, contagiously fun, and amazing grandmother of Zachary and Hannah Sadler [Florida], Gabrielle Moroni, Sabrina, and Jacob Schwartz [Centennial, CO] and a doting great grandmother of Carson Wilkerson and Corbin Huff [Okeechobee, FL]. Her contagious laugh, warm smile, and abounding love without judgement will be truly missed. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Kemper (Elizabeth) Allison [Ohio], Charles (Kelley) Allison [Florida], and adored nieces and nephews, Julie, Angie, Danny, Gary, Jacqueline, Kristina, David, Michael, Katie, Austin and Demon. A private memorial will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 11:00a.m. A public livestream of the funeral will be available on the platform, Periscope, www.pscp.tv http://www.pscp.tv/.
