Anthony Rubenstein -- a dear friend, always with a sweet, gentle smile of kindness. A founding member of the BMH-BJ Congregation Male Voice Choir and a fine tenor with a unique, pleasant, character to his voice. His beautiful duet of Areshet Sefateinu with Chazzan Joel Lichterman often sings in my head. Anthony - a man of great integrity who stands firmly for his principles without showing anger.
“Sweet Singer of Israel.”, you are deeply and painfully missed.
Deepest condolences to Becky, Keren, Tali (and Scott), grandchildren Anna and Ben, siblings Norma and Ivor, and extended family. We greatly mourn Anthony's unexpected and untimely passing, along with our family, your family and many, many friends.

Dear Becky , Keren ,Tali and families,
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Anthony's sudden passing. I do feel your immense pain . I realize how more difficult is is for you, in this crazy world we live in nowadays, to experience such a loss, with no "normal" funeral or "shiva" sitting , when people can come and provide support or some comfort in person.
Even though we have not been in touch in recent years, I always appreciated the two of you, and Anthony's kind demeanor.
I wish for you to "not know sorrow again"
sending you positive thoughts and wishing for you to be as strong as you can be now in the trying times ahead of you. (I realize it is easier said than done)
Fondly, Rivka Grinberg

Dear Becky and family, We are devastated to learn of your tragedy. We have been crying all day in between sweet memories of our dear friend Anthony, with his sweet, gentle smile of kindness. A man of integrity who stands firmly for his principles without showing anger. A “Sweet Singer of Israel,” as a talented and important member of Cantor Joel Lichterman’s men’s choir — who could forget your soul-inspiring rendition of Areshet, after each shofar blowing of Rosh Hashana musaf. Anthony, you are deeply, painfully missed.
With fond love from Brian and Sarina Kopinsky

We weren’t blood but we were family. The love I felt whenever I was around you was like that of my own father. Watching the friendship between you and my father was like watching brothers. Being around you was like being home. I am so happy to have had such a warm, gentle soul like yours in my corner. I love you.

There are few people in this world that are as kind and good as you, Ant. You were like my family. I remember so many Shabbas with you as a kid, and staying with you when I came back to visit Denver. I've known you my entire life, and I will think of you always for the rest of my days. I love you forever.
