Obituary of Alan Zeldman
Alan Lewis Zeldman, 79, passed away on Sept. 10, 2020, in Denver, CO. Given the pandemic, a small service will be held at Feldman Mortuary, 1673 York Street, Denver on Monday, Sept. 14, at 11 AM. A celebration of Alan’s life will be held in New Jersey - where he long lived - in 2021.
Alan was born in Bronx, NY to the late Cele and Murray Zeldman on May 1, 1941. He went to Taft High School and earned his BS degree in Finance from New York University. Some of Alan’s passions were collecting stamps and coins, going on cruises and antiquing with the late Marilyn Korman, tarpon fishing with his sons, fast red cars with black leather interiors, listening to doo-wop, his pet yorkies, and observing marine life from a boat or through binoculars from any window in his Ft. Lauderdale home.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Arline Zeldman, his sons Michael and Jason, his daughter Kristin Mariani, his grandson, Mason Mariani, and his sister Elaine (Mark) Oleske.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Denver Hospice for making his last days as comfortable and pain-free as possible. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his honor to find a cure for diabetes, pancreatic cancer, or a cause that matters to you.
Feldman Mortuary is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
