I met Paul years ago when we were active in ACCORD. It was there that he showed his passion for planning and understanding
the detail of development. Because of his encouragement, I followed him to the Planning Commission. Paul loved attending meetings and was always willing to share what he learned. If you wanted to know what was going on, Paul was the one to ask.
He cared. He listened. He made a difference. It is an honor to have known him.

I would run into Paul at various city functions and was always impressed with his curiosity and genuine interest in the "why" behind decisions made by city council. We certainly did enjoy several "eye rolls" over the years. His dedication to the outdoors, parks and open spaces made a long-term positive impression on our overall quality of life. He loved his family and we shared stories about our kids. Thank you to his family for sharing him with us. Blessings to all.

I knew Paul for 13 years from the Tips and Leads group he headed. He was always a positive and upbeat person. I moved a few months after his original diagnosis, but even with such a serious road ahead he still held that positivity. I admired that about him. He was a fighter. I am so sorry it took him before his time, but I am glad you got to have him in your life longer than they had given him.

Andrea, Eric and Ashley:
I want to share with you how proud he was of each of you. When prompted, he would go into a whole story about where he and Andrea had just returned from a venture. When asked about Eric and Andrea, that is when he really got excited to tell me what each of you have been doing. I look back on all our times from the early days of ACCORD to the formation of the City of Centennial and the 4 Square Mile Area and say yes, Paul had his fingerprint on many of the developments in the County. Even though, he and I would not always be on the same side of a development while he was the Chair of the Planning Commission, he always showed respect to me and all of the residents who appeared before him. He would tell me that I was the only one to ever throw him out of a meeting! You must understand that he would attend many of the 4 Square Mile Neighborhoods monthly meetings and when it came time for Developers to present their projects to the residents in attendance, he would be asked to leave along with the County Commissioner. They could not hear a case that would be presented before them in the future. He never would let me live that down! I always stated that he was in good company with the Commissioner as they left our meeting. May the memories of Paul always be lasting.

I've had the honor and pleasure of working with Paul through the Aurora Chamber for most of the years he was there. Paul was sweet, gentle, kind, always helpful, funny, and always had a smile for you. I just watched the beautiful ceremony, and learned even more about what a good man he was. Blessings to him and his beautiful family and friends. The world was a better place for having Paul in it. Sandi Ausman

A picture of Paul: kindness most of all, fun with the wit, a fine sense of humor in sticky circumstances, intelligence with humbleness, helpful at all times, and he wore armor, which was needed when one is a teenager, armor of the type I adored, verbal armor. I used to think “Way to go Paul! That’s just the way I would’ve said it, if I’d had half the guts, you do.” I love Paul Rosenberg, wholeheartedly, and I’ll never forget him as long as I live. Fifty years ago doesn’t make a difference!

Paul and I served together at the Aurora Chamber for more than 15 years. He was the consummate salesman and community activist--especially in Arapahoe County where he was the go-to-guy on the Planning Commission. He was a world traveler and especially loved going on cruises. Most of all I remember him as a very proud family man who would light up when talking about his wife, children and grandchildren. Barbara and I send our most sincere condolences to Andrea, Eric and Ashley.

Paul recruited me to the Chamber, taught me about the lido deck for my honeymoon cruise, and was my biggest fan at my ribbon cutting. I will never forget the way he glowed when he talked about taking cruises, and the pride in his voice when he told me about his daughter's medical school and travel adventures. His enthusiasm was contagious, and will continue to drive me to work hard, play hard, and laugh often.

I had the pleasure of working with Paul when he served on Arapahoe County’s Planning Commission for many years. He served with dedication and a commitment to those who live and work in the county. Paul served in other ways, as well, through his work with the I-70 Regional Economic Advancement Partnership, the American Planning Association Colorado Board of Directors, and the County Board of Adjustment. Paul leaves a legacy through his tireless service on behalf of his community. Paul was also an exuberant and cheerful person, and I enjoyed our chances to swap stories about what our “kids” were up to. Paul was proud of his family, and his family brought him great joy. I will miss Paul. Jan Yeckes, Arapahoe County Planning

To Andrea, Eric, Ashley & family,
John and I are so sorry to hear about Paul’s passing, and we pray God will comfort your hearts and give you peace while going through this difficult time of great loss. Paul was a dear friend and colleague, and during those 15 years of working with him, I learned what he was passionate about — his wife, children and work. I loved how he would share about his traveling around the world with you, Andrea, about you, Ashley, his daughter of endless determination to be the best doctor, and of you, Eric, your success in business as well as being the best husband and dad to your children. Paul’s legacy of family will carry on for generations. His work at The Chamber will always be one of many successes in his life, and he thoroughly enjoyed his work and how he made a difference in the communities. Paul was loved and will be deeply missed. Dear Andrea, Eric & Jennifer, Ashley & Adam, Joanne, and "Grands" Sophie, Mila and Charles,
Paul was from the Fayetteville High School Class of 1969. What a grand fellow...here is how I remember Paul, a "boy" I had classes with at FHS...he was very gentlemanly, had a wonderful smile, was very smart and a handsome guy." We know that he wanted to attend our 50th Class Reunion last October and all missed him greatly. Thank you Eric for contacting Pat Bailey Page. An email went out at about 5:20 CST to our classmates announcing this sad news and giving them the information to link into the service tomorrow.
Peace be with Paul and peace and health be with each of you...Susan Williams Mayes Carney

We talked about travel every time we saw each other, and of course the love for his children and grandchildren. Paul was always very welcoming to me at the Chamber events, and our conversations were always dear to me. Praying for the Family during this difficult time. Lori Jahner

Dear Rosenberg Family,
The whole staff of the Chamber joins you in your loss, which we feel too. Paul was such a vital part of the Chamber staff for 25 years and we miss him. Paul loved his work with all the Chamber members and community and gave so much of himself to serve them.
I loved the times he would sit in my office and tell me of exotic places he had been on vacation with Andrea or regale me with proud tales of Ashley and Eric's exploits and accomplishments. He was a proud Dad and a happy traveler, that's for sure! His dry sense of humor and deadpan delivery would get me laughing every time. Paul brightened my day. Plus I could always count on him to hook me up with the best beef corn dog in town or local restaurant running a special.
I am thankful for the seven years we worked together and the ten years we have been friends. Thanks, Paul, for all the stories and the laughter and the travel tips and special deals....you added to my life, you playful guy!
