Obituary of Larry Jacobs

Larry Joseph Jacobs born July 4, 1942, Chicago, IL entered into rest October 8, 2020, Louisville, Colorado of Lewy Body Dementia. Preceded in death by his parents Irving & Rose Jacobs. Survived by his wife Emma Jean Jacobs of Dallas, Texas; his Children:  Jenny (David) Modderman, David Jacobs, Adam Jacobs, Sarah Pearson, Lisa Jacobs & Stacy Morse; his Grandchildren:  Rachel Modderman (27), Taylor Morse (27), Andrew Modderman (27), Hunter Morse (24), Victoria Modderman (23), Luke Pearson (14), Cole Pearson (11), Summer Pearson (8); & his Great-Grandchildren:  Jacob Modderman (5) and Warren Modderman (3).

Larry was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather (Zaba) and Great-Grandfather. Larry was a proud veteran who served in the Navy during the Cuban conflict on the USS Charles H. Roan. He was an active member of the Tin Can Sailors in Texas for many years. Larry owned his own business in the nursing home industry in Chicago, Illinois. Larry & Jean retired to Dallas, Texas where they lived a life of travel and adventure. Larry was an avid golfer & loved spending time with his family. 

Dad, we hope Disneyland is all you thought it was cracked up to be. You will truly be missed.
